IDRC Digital Library (IDL) Conditions of Use top

On 20 July 2015, IDRC’s Open Access Policy (http://www.idrc.ca/EN/Misc/Pages/Open-Access-Policy.aspx) came into effect. The metadata record of all material placed in the IDL from 20 July 2015 onward will display attribution requirements and licensing provisions indicating the license terms and conditions. Any use of such materials is subject to those licensing terms and conditions and attribution requirements.

Materials which have not been individually labelled with licensing provisions, are available under the following license:

You are permitted to read, download, print, reproduce, copy, distribute or search the materials and to link to the full texts of such materials, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, for non-commercial purposes, or otherwise use them for any other lawful non-commercial purpose. You must give appropriate credit to the attribution parties, provide a copyright notice and disclaimer notice if supplied in the material, and a link to the material

All materials provided in the IDL are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. IDRC specifically does not make any warranties or representations as to the accuracy or completeness of any such materials.

Privacy Statement top

IDRC respects the privacy concerns of users of this Web site. As a general policy no personal information is automatically collected from users of this Web site. Certain non-personal information, such as a user's internet service provider, operating system, the length of user visits and user requests made during visits, may be collected.
