Abstract

The expert consultation was carried out in three directorates namely Food Agriculture and natural resources (FANR), infrastructure and services and administration and finance. Unfortunately other directorates and their technical experts were out for various functions despite the planning of the consultation two months prior to the actual visit. Even with the directorates interviewed, some of the units such as energy, transport, ICT infrastructure that were deemed necessary to the process of developing the Climate change Programme (CCP) were out for a retreat and hence were not represented. In this regard, it was agreed that continuous consultation will be held with the units that were under represented through emails and phone discussions to have their views and opinions incorporated in the proposed CCP.
