Abstract: The project inception workshop was conducted with the objective of developing an implementation framework to scale up sustainable rural land management innovations in the Bukwo and Kapchorwa Districts, Uganda. This was to be achieved through the introduction of the project to a larger cross section of stakeholders in the districts; facilitating a common understanding of the project purpose and intentions; clarifying roles and responsibilities of the implementing partners; and agreeing on work plans for the project with focus on the first year. The report details activities and outcomes of the workshop.
