Major learning efforts of two groups of Accra adults

Abstract

Report of a social research project, conducted in an urban area of Ghana (Accra), on adult education and the learning efforts of professional workers, including comparative analysis of studies conducted in Toronto, Canada - discusses (1) concept of 'learning project', and its significance for social research and social theory (2) learning activities of workers, time allotted to these activities, and respective subject areas (3) motivations of workers.
